Demonstrations

Graeme has demonstrated extensively for clubs and guilds as well as at national and international woodturning events. He has a varied repertoire of presentations suitable for beginners through to advanced level . These cover a diverse range of techniques, topics and philosophies both and and off the lathe.

Graeme can offer set presentation outlines or tailor a presentation to suit your needs.

Timber

Graeme imports some of the finest quality turning timbers from Western Australia for his own use and for sale to other woodworkers in New Zealand. Many of these timbers, particularly Sheoak, are incredibly stable due to the desert conditions in which they grow, and are ideally suited to some of Graeme's sculptural turnings. Others offer a wide range of oustanding grain patterns such as birdseye, burl, curley etc which are suitable for decorative turnngs, boxes, knife handles and inlays.

Tuition

Graeme is available for one-one-one tuition from basic to advanced levels, in his studio or in yours.

Graeme also offers hands-on tuition for groups of up to five students, a suitable venue is required for this.
